ABOUT PROGRAM

The department is affiliated to Anna University Chennai and accredited by AICTE, New Delhi. Department of Civil Engineering Department is mother of all other engineering departments. In our College, Department of Civil Engineering was introduced in the academic year 2012-2013 with an intake of 60. The department has been imparting quality education keeping in mind the recent technological advancement and the industrial requirements. This has been made possible due to qualified and dedicated faculty with rich experience in the diversified streams of Civil Engineering. The department is fully equipped with laboratories and it aims to enrich the student’s knowledge both in theory and practical application of the instruments. The Association of Civil Engineering conducts seminars, guest lectures and industrial visits, which helps to promote the awareness.

HOD DESK

It gives me immense pleasure to express my views towards the development of Civil Engineering Department. Besides a very strong and disciplined Academics, Department has started various practices for the overall development of students which includes SPEAK Forum for the Employability Skills, Technovation for the Project development based on innovative ideas,Students are having enormous talents and creativity which are being explored by extra co-curricular activities like Group Discussion, debate, Extempore, Programming contests, projects etc organized under different professional bodies like IEEE, CSI as well Departmental association. Every year we observe lots of achievements in both academics and extra-curricular activities. Globalization and rapid technological evolutions gives rise to many challenges. Continuous learning and keeping upgrade with recent technology is the need for today’s professionals. Lastly I congratulate the creative and sincere efforts taken by my faculty members and students for the achievement of Civil Department and I wish all of them a great success in their bright future
